Hi Kori. Lovely post and may I say loved the new book! Incredible. Really enjoyed it. I'm a Christian from the UK. Yes I do go to church every week but none of my friends outside the church i.e. from Monday to Saturday are believers and are really opposed to it. So my community is being on here reading your stuff. Feel really welcome here so your site and others like yours are my creative communities. Hope you don't mind me being a part of it.

Mark, I'm thrilled that you're here! I also understand how you feel being the only one of your friends who is a believer and facing opposition. Our church supports a missionary family in Rugby, England, and I know that the soil in the UK is very hard. Be encouraged that Christ sees your faithfulness, and continue to show His love to your friends despite their disagreement. I will be praying for you as you minister to others!

I loved my time at last year's retreat. There is something magical about being in a room full of creative people who love God and others so well. It is inspiring, refreshing, and encouraging. And what a great group to celebrate your new book with!

I'm grateful for my eclectic group of friends. Each one adds unique enrichment to my life, and I hope it does to theirs as well. I go away from our lunches or coffee dates more inspired and encouraged. The gift of living in the same area for a very long time has afforded me the opportunity to establish deep roots.

Magic happens when you can gather in the same plot of earth with people you love, but only get to see online.

Being able to see you dear friend was the highlight of my weekend.
